You can achieve your goals and realise your resolutions. You can do this by taking charge of the situation and working systematically towards reaching your goals.
The television is blaring…the phone is ringing…and someone has just arrived at the door. You are under stress—big-time. As a result, you may feel a loss of control. If it’s a particularly bad day, you might even feel as if there is no way out. You feel overwhelmed and ill-equipped to deal with the stress you’re under.
This morning my husband was busy making coffee in the kitchen and he went to the fridge to get the milk. Next thing I hear “Honey, where’s the milk? I swear we opened a new one yesterday. Surely we didn’t go through a whole liter in one day?”.
I quickly went to the kitchen to rescue the situation, opened the fridge and there the milk was, staring right back at me. I quickly grabbed it and gave it to him “Here you go”.
One of the things that people ponder the most in life is “what is my purpose?” and “why am I here?”. We tend to view our purpose as the reason for our existence, which is directly linked to our perception of the value we bring to this world.
Not knowing our purpose in life can lead to feelings of worthlessness lead and a feeling of an unfulfilled life. If you have felt this way, I am sure you have asked yourself the question “How can I discover my purpose in life?”
